From teddy bears to teletubbies, explore the whole of Wakefield’s historic toys and games collection.

There are over 800 toys and games, including game cubes and marbles from the 1500s, Victorian dolls and dolls’ house furniture, 1930s building sets, train sets and 1970s Dinky toys.

Some of the toys are on display at Wakefield Museum; others come out of their box every now and again for different displays.

You can search the collection in a number of ways: by the maker; name of the toy; where it was made or played with; or when it was made.
